How do you pronounce "Garmin" as in the GPS systems?

I have always pronounced the G in Garmin as the g in goat. I heard someone today pronounce it with the j sound as in giant. Which is correct?

1. No your right. You pronounce it with the G I was shopping yesterday and thats all i heard at best buy was that is how its pronounced.
