Where can i find info about GPS navigation systems for cars?
Questions such as is there a monthly cost for the service, does it lose signal under a bridge an so on.

- I use a Garmin Streetpilot c330. Works pretty well. There is no monthly service charge from any manufacturer, just buy it and that's it. Only thing to make sure of is that the model you buy is capable of accepting downloads from the net for upgrades (when new roads are built, say). They will make a charge for these upgrades. And some have features like Search by name for stores and services. (The c330 does). Just going under a bridge will not cause it to lose reception, but it does need to be able to see 4 satellites to know where it is. Just being mounted in the windshield is fine for that. Sometimes the signal will bounce off a mountain or cliff if you are next to one and place you a little off course, but you get to recognize when that happens.
