I am looking for some GPS software for driving such as Tomtom that would work with by Blackberry 8800.?

As an alternative to the software provided with the Blackberry which relies on sending and receieving data for re-mapping, can anyone suggest if there is compatible software for this device?

1. i'm not sure if this is compatible but it won't cost you anything to try it. and get an external bluetooth gps receiver, 5 minutes to get a signal is unacceptable: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NQ0OAVZR
2. All current GPS software for BlackBerrys rely on sending and receiving data, I believe. Google Maps and TeleNav are the most popular. I don't believe there is an application where maps are stored on the microSD card. People have been looking for that but it isn't available yet.
