Who produces the Skymap aircraft GPS software, that passengers can watch onboard most long haul flights?

Skymap is the graphical display passengers can view onboard most modern airlines, where the current position of the aircraft is shown and a solid red line to show where it has flown. Towns and cities in the vicinity of the aircraft are shown at different animated intervals and altitudes. I'm just interested to see who developed it!

1. Panasonic makes a map display called iXplor; not sure if it's the same thing as Skymap or something totally different.
